Dear Jesse,

Since School 12 is is the neighborhood school for South Central and for South Troy; it seems to me this would be a good spot for neighborhood boosters to hash out issues and ideas about ways to improve our troubled school with the school board School 12 representative.

As young couples likely to have well prepared kids move into these neighborhoods, it is imperative that we have a school that is ready for them. School 12 is not in any way ready for these families. There needs to be some serious, home truth about this topic. So far, I've only heard propaganda from the school board and administration regarding Sch. 12.

We pay dearly for public schools in Troy. New home owners pay especially high taxes. There is no reason why conscientious parents should have to spend additional money to private schools in order for their children to get the kind of education that is most appropriate for them.
