The success of the Saratoga Zombie Walk this weekend (easily 100 zombies crawling from the grave to the bars behind Broadway) indicates there is a lot of interest in dressing up and having fun.
Given that RPI students have an interest in technology and an active electronic music scene, it would be fun to coordinate a Halloween related event pitting two horror movie classics, zombies & robots, against each other in costume contests, dance contests, etc.
Perhaps it could be done in conjunction with the October 26 Troy Night Out--with different galleries or vacant spaces being dedicated to either zombies or robots.
