I think it would be great to have a co-working space somewhere downtown.
Similar to the idea posted by DHR a while back to use store fronts as shared space for small businesses, a co-working space would be office space shared by multiple people, usually freelancer, small startups, etc.
Rates can be structured to offer day passes, week passes, or different levels of monthly membership.

I think it goes hand in hand with the idea of helping to foster a culture that appeals to the creative class. Would anyone here be into something like this? Do you see it as a useful addition to downtown?
